History of Eye Matter

Eye Matter began as a heartfelt initiative by Anjal Jain, who was deeply moved by a personal experience. Twelve years ago, Anjal's family member revealed a significant visual impairment, which became the catalyst for creating Eye Matter. What started as a small support group has evolved into a prominent movement dedicated to fostering innovation and inclusivity for those with visual impairments.

The Journey Begins - a young Anjal at 7 years old created an invention that would help individuals with visual impairments called the “Invisible Cane”

What We Do

Currently, we are working on a multitude of projects. In the Pre-COVID world, a multitude of opportunities for in-person meetups amongst the visually impaired community were available throughout the nation. Adapting to our new reality, Eye Matter’s projects use technology to create strong bonds in the visually impaired community. Our team of hardworking college students and professional mentors is determined to keep creating a variety of impactful projects for all of you to enjoy and be involved in.
